Perform in-house calibration and maintenance of production equipment
Coordinate on-site calibration and maintenance with contract service providers.
Create, update and maintain equipment service records
Troubleshoot and repair production equipment
Work with engineering and management staff on process development and validation activities
Create or revise controlled documentation as required
Assist in the transfer of processes and/or equipment into development or production
Other duties as required
Associates Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a regulated medical device environment performing equipment calibration and maintenance
Experience with precision equipment calibration - temperature, pressure, dimensional, etc.
Experience with maintaining a calibration system
Experience with managing calibration vendors and scheduling calibration activities
Experience with the use of standard test equipment such as multimeters
Experience with the use of basic mechanical hand tools (saws, drill press, grinder). Manual machining skills (with use of lathe / milling machine) are a plus
Must have PC experience, especially with Microsoft office packages i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
CAD experience (AutoCAD) a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
