Enter data for quantities of parts issued and transferred between locations, inventories and cycle count adjustments into the computer database.
Identify and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department lead person or department supervisor.
Record and monitor all items with shelf life per SOPs and notify the appropriate personnel.
Able to work in a fast pace environment and deal with multiple people at one time.
Receive and issue finished goods into the computer database.
Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel.
Perform and prepare cycle count reports for inventory accuracy.
Support the shipment of goods produced and the received goods and supplies to be used in or to aid in the production/storage of goods destined for sale to our customer base
Perform shipping and receiving duties as required per the appropriate SOPs.
Prepare and participate in yearly physical inventories.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Proficient at Word, Excel and Outlook
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required for this position.
3-5 years inventory control, shipping and receiving experience preferred
Knowledge of inventory control functions
Strong organizational skills
Knowledge of FDA product tracking requirements
Excellent communication skills
Self-motivated and able to work with very little supervision
Detailed oriented and able to pay close attention to accuracy
Able to properly handle confidential information and records
Able to analyze information gathered in order to identify potential problems or discrepancies
The employee may be required to periodically lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
