Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

  • Assist in development of financial, product and strategic messaging, including the development of presentations used by CEO, CFO and other Executive leaders, and used at Investment and industry conferences.

  • Facilitate coordination of Investor Relations outreach activities including preparation of investor materials, investor profiles, and shareholder information to ensure executives are fully prepared for investor meetings.

  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of stock performance relative to peers, indices and investor perceptions. Help convey findings through presentations and reports to Senior Leaders and the Board of Directors.

  • Assist in the quarterly earnings reporting process through data collection, analysis, writing and editing, and production of publications and electronic media used leading up to and into the quarterly calls.

  • Collaborate with the Corporate FP&A team on the development of the operating plan, strategic plan and other forecasts.

  • Become subject matter expert for the capital markets database and intelligence system that supports the investor relations program. Be responsible for maintaining investor contact information, tracking investor interaction, investor targeting and producing ad-hoc reports for management information reporting.

  • Provide organizational, logistical, and administrative support for conference calls, webcasts, investor conferences, trade shows and special events.

  • Provide assistance for the creation and updating of materials used in the Annual Report and Proxy Statement. Support includes collaborating with Legal, Human Resources, Accounting and Corporate Communications. Attend Annual Meeting of Stockholders.

  • Play a prominent role in the planning and execution of Investor Day meetings. Work with senior management to develop key messaging around products, franchises, corporate strategy and financial targeting. Assist in organization and planning around presentation materials, product displays, and venue logistics.

  • Maintain current and archived information on Investor Relations Corporate Website, with assistance from vendor.

  • Remain current on economic, accounting, political, regulatory, industry, and stock market outlook.

  • 4-8 years of experience in Investor Relations, sell side research, buy side research finance, marketing or corporate communication positions for a public company or a consulting agency.

  • College degree required, preferably in Finance, Economics or Communications

  • Outstanding financial and investment analysis skills, oral and written communication skills and presentation ability.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial and product related data, summarize key take aways and communicate to a wide audience

  • An understanding of financial statements and modeling techniques used by security analysts to project a company’s operating and financial performance and resulting value for its stock.

  • A good understanding of strategic communication, public relations, marketing, advertising and the media.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, superior intellect and an outstanding ability to communicate using these qualities and skills.

  • An energetic efficient and resourceful team player and individual contributor

  • Strong MS Office skills and experience.
