The Associate Product Development Engineer I will be part of design and development team for new and existing product development as well as sustaining engineering across Codman Specialty Solutions.
Play a technical role for engineering activities related to existing product modifications and upgrades,
Plan and conduct design/development of engineering assignments including product design verification and validation,
Estimate work schedule to meet completion dates and technical specifications,
Demonstrate technical and analytical skills,
Provide support for field-based Sales Team and other Commercial partners as needed,
Partner with major stakeholders from Marketing, QA, RA, and Manufacturing,
Collaborate with internal and external partners to support existing and new product development activities,
Attend industry tradeshows, professional education events, and other company-sponsored events to provide product training and support to customers as needed.
Bachelor’s Degree required, with preference for Mechanical, Bio-Medical Engineering
Up to 2 years of engineering experience is required
Experience in the medical device industry is preferred
Experience in laboratory setting is preferred
Familiarity with Six sigma is a plus
