Responsibilities

The Senior Pricing Analyst position supports pricing for Integra’s fast growing and dynamic Orthopedics and Tissue Technology division. This highly visible, highly interactive, and highly impactful role. is responsible for the analysis, reporting and execution of the pricing strategies in alignment with the divisions pricing financial goals and objectives. It is also a key driver in the development and execution of pricing integrity (price accuracy) decision implementation across the entire pricing lifecycle including initial pricing, promotional pricing, and discounting. The Senior Pricing Analyst collaborates cross functionally through data mining and presenting those findings to a diverse senior level commercial and financial audience as they build the divisions strategies and its tactical execution.

  • Utilize strengths in Business Objects, Excel, Access and SQL programming to extract, transform and report on multiple data sources.

  • Able to integrate sales and pricing data from multiple sources, thoroughly analyze while identifying, trends, gaps and opportunities.

  • Proactively work to decrease the value of unbilled revenue by assisting the Sales Organization in executing permanent solutions, including root cause analysis, solution development and the execution at the account, product franchise and divisional level.

  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) related to contract and pricing related processes.

  • Develop and lead continuous business improvement in the area of customer pricing.

  • Analyze proposed contract pricing for accuracy, structure and profitability while securing appropriate authorizations in accordance with the division’s discount matrix and corporate guidelines.

  • Work cross functionality with Marketing, Enterprise Operations, Corporate Pricing and Sales to enhance functionality associated with price impact analysis.

  • Provide analytical support for various pricing associated initiatives within the Sales, Finance, and Marketing functions.

  • Process GPO/IDN LOC and price activation requests including performing the required analytics and securing the necessary authorizations.

  • Perform the required analytics and calculations in support of customer rebate programs.

  • Maintain the data integrity of Discount Request Forms (DRF), Contract Boilerplates and various pricing related documents.

  • Provide Ad Hoc reporting to Sales, Marketing and Finance as required.

  • Lead or participate in projects as identified by Sales Operations Management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related discipline from an accredited university or college; MBA a plus.

  • 5-8 years extensive data mining/manipulation and data validation skills utilizing Excel (advanced features), Access, Cognos, Oracle, Model N.

  • Ability to effectively articulate insights and recommended actions

  • Possess a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical and/or Medical Device data and previous knowledge of industry sales data best practices

  • Very high attention to detail and quality control is imperative.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks. Must function independently and possess solid organizational skills.

  • Project Management skills highly desirable.
